It has been found that parents with young children are unable to go to work and earn their livelihood as they have no one to take care of their young ones.  Parents make the eldest in the family look after his/her siblings so that can go to work. 

Crèche project which was started in the year 1986 addresses the problem faced by the working parents.  Children between the ages of four months - five years with priority being given to children of domestic workers and single parents are admitted to this crèche.  The crèche project greatly emphasizes the need for a firm and strong foundation to the well-being and upbringing of the child with comprehensive day-care services including food, shelter, medical attention, timely immunization, recreational activities to the children. Awareness programs on child related issues are also conducted for parents at regular intervals.
