In the burgeoning slums in and around BECC, there are teenaged girls, who have dropped out from the schools and have no source of livelihood.

BECC started sewing classes in the year 1988 with a aim of helping teenage girls to accquire skills and get employment.  As of date many slum girls empowered through this project.
